Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year!
Thank you for a great first year. I’m looking forward to the challenges of my second year as a principal at Sherrard Junior High School. I learned a lot of things during my first year. One thing that I was reminded of is that we have great students, staff, and parents. It was nice to see so many familiar faces.
One of our goals is to prepare our students for high school. As a staff we will continue to challenge our students to help prepare them for the rigors of high school. This year, we will focus on several initiatives to help students. We are adding in a homeroom to help focus on executive functioning skills. We are adding in advisory periods to help expand students’ experiences. We are going to continue to refine our MTSS process to help students that are struggling. Together we will continue to work on building an experience that will challenge and prepare them for high school, while supporting them when they are struggling. My door is always open to hear your ideas, celebrate successes, and address any concerns.
